Hello, world

This is the first post on the new pipeline. The whole thing is markdown-on-disk, generated from a local LLM, and committed by the admin portal running on my Mac mini. Everything else is downstream of that one file.

Why a pipeline at all

I’ve been writing on Medium for a while. Medium is fine for distribution and terrible for ownership. The compromise: write here, syndicate there, with a canonical link pointing back to where the post actually lives.

What’s next

A few posts on the boring parts — content collections, the syndication ledger, why I picked Astro instead of Next for the public site. Boring is the goal.
